I don't know what Dell's problem is with that. Tried the Windows 10 update, IDT didnt load and I didnt have sound. Attempted to run diagnostic tools but the software assistant would not load because of my "Lack of Internet Connection." I run a Cox Com Preferred Wi-fi with 28 mbps download and 5.97 mbps upload. I attempted to install IDT from the original setup.exe file installed as part of the OEM package. I can get the drivers through Dell but no control panel is the problem. I thought I could re-install it so I uninstalled only to find that the IDT folder and references in the Device Manager had vanished. But, IDT didn't initialize when I clicked its icon. I reverted back to Windows 8.1- not willing to put up with Microsoft and their crummy new products anymore- got on 8.1 and found the drivers in the Device Manager in "audio inputs and outputs," and in the sound, video and game controllers. OK, it seems the problem for me (HP Probook 6465b) was solved by installing HP driver version (sp57776. Tried the Windows 10 update, IDT didn't load and I didn't have sound.
